今日はラピッドプロトタイピングについての解説です。人間中心設計では、プロセスの１つに試作による問題の解決というフェーズがあります。この試作の重要性を短時間で経験してもらうために、パスタで片持ち梁をつくるというゲームにチャレンジしてもらいました。
制限時間１０分間で、どれだけ長い片持ち梁をパスタで作ることが出来るかをチームに分かれて競争してもらいました。限られた時間のなかで、初めて作るモノをどのように組み立てていけばよいかを、ゲームを通じて体験してもらうことが目的です。今期の最長記録は７１ｃｍ。昨年より制限時間を短くしたのに、結果は良くなりましたね。ちなみに優勝したチームにはポッキー詰め合わせが賞品として贈られました。次はこれで梁を作ってください（＾＾；
ゲームの終了後に振り返りの時間を持ち、作業を通じて感じたことをみんなでシェアしました。概ね私の意図は伝わったようでよかったです。
次にゲームの経験を踏まえてUIのプロトタイピング手法について解説をして、今日の授業は終わり。

「PhotoProto」はPhotoshopで作成したグラフィックを元にプロトタイピングを行うソフトらしいです。$495.00と、この手のソフトとしては割安なのではないでしょうか。
体験版やトレーニングビデオもあるので、少し落ち着いたら試してみたいと思います。

本日は先週解説したUDマトリクスを実際に作ってもらうワークショップを開催しました。一部を宿題にしていたので、講義では持ち寄った宿題部分をグループで摺り合わせて、全体的な方針を決定してもらいました。最後に各グループに作成したマトリクスを解説してもらいました。
短時間で作ったわりには、とても良いマトリクスになりました。
今日のテーマはUDマトリクスの解説です。 次週に実際にマトリクスを作成するワークショップを実施するので、具体例を示しながら丁寧に解説します。
来週のワークショップの時間内では全ての作業を完成できそうにないので、今日の内に宿題として一部の作業を学生に指示しました。さて、ちゃんとやってきてくれるかな。
